Fumi has spent her entire career working in the field of ABA starting as a therapist for children with autism. She continued working in the field while earning her PhD from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2016. She has taught semester courses for Masters’ and PhD students as an adjunct faculty in addition to her clinical experience as a BCBA. In recent years, she has been able to expand on her passion for ABA and teaching by focusing on developing trainings for new clinicians and building quality assurance systems for the organizations she has worked with. When not working, Fumi enjoys spending time with her family and friends and participating in organizations such as the Japanese Association for Behavior Analysis and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee at Illinois Association for Behavior Analysis.
